Main Character Introductions!

Took me a while to go over possible candidates. I decided that it would be more fun to just hit a cafe in a city in a random realm where beings labeled Humans were pretty much primitive in themselves except they had many roles that they took up and seemed to have some fancy little toys.

At least they had good coffee.

Anyway, I sat there for a while and picked out a rather shy or introverted young man.

His name is Theodore. All I'll let you know. I don't want to just hand over where I was for those that wanted to dig. Though you won't spot me.

Anyway, he is asleep on my bed. When I approached him and touched him so I can bring him to this story, it seemed like he fainted from shock or something. At least he is perfectly fine, else he'd make a boring character.

I'm using this time to dress him and prepare the opening chapter of his Tale.

Why, I'm excited enough to even give him a "treat" before he gets a "stick" but I'll try and wait for him to establish the scene.

I'm going over the trouble of arranging the purposes of his mind, removing most of his excess memories to make room for a link that will allow me to tap into his senses and perceive the story from his perceptive. Which helps a lot since I am relaying his tale to you all and it would be a shame if I could not accurately narrate his actions, emotions and thoughts.

This tale is about to begin soon. I just have to hope he doesn't sleep for too long...

With that,
Farewell,
those tempted by tales.

Character Applications

Hello. I am Teller. I tell stories. Well, I prefer saying tales. Hence my name. Teller of Tales to Tempt thy Temptations. I have a tale to tell, or rather, I have the opportunity to let someone experience life in a story as I relate it to you, my readers.

Here are some rules, for the interested:

  • You will not die, yet nor will I have it so that you succeed in endeavors by Deus Ex Machinas
  • You may not die, but I can not guarantee your bodily and mental health being unharmed
  • There are supernatural forces, eldritch and unknown that no guarantee is given you will have powers but never the less, you be be changed
  • You must be over the age of 18/21 or be considered an adult in your city, state, country, planet, plane of existence, ect. For reasons. I am not twisted to tell a tale with a child being impaled/stabbed/burnt/ect.
I hold no discrimination to race, ages (so long an adult), gender, religion, position, timeline, ect.

I just want a character.

With that, allow me to search for my main character.

With that,
Farewell,
those tempted by tales.
